Kofoid Outduels Hafertepe Jr. for First World of Outlaws Win at Kennedale
Buddy Kofoid secured his first victory of the 2025 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car season at the Cowtown Classic finale at Kennedale Speedway Park. The win marks his 11th career victory with the series and makes him the seventh different winner in ten races this season.

Starting from the front row, Kofoid battled with pole-sitter Sam Hafertepe Jr., taking the lead on Lap 10 with a decisive slider. Despite intense pressure from Hafertepe through heavy traffic, Kofoid maintained his position to secure the win.
The victory represents a significant turnaround for Kofoid and Roth Motorsports, who struggled early in the season with three races outside the top 10. This win is also the team's 115th World of Outlaws Feature victory, continuing their streak of 15 consecutive seasons with at least one win.
