Kyle Cummins secured a dramatic victory in the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship race at Florida's Ocala Speedway, becoming the first multi-time winner of the 2025 season. The Princeton, Indiana native made a decisive move on a green-white-checker restart to overtake C.J. Leary in the final two laps.

Cummins, piloting his Petty Performance Racing machine, started fifth and methodically worked his way through the field. After stalking Leary for 25 consecutive laps, he seized his opportunity on the final restart, threading his car through a narrow gap between Leary and the outside wall to take the lead.

The victory marked Cummins' 22nd career USAC National Sprint Car win, tying him for 31st all-time with Rick Hood, Bubby Jones, and Sammy Sessions. He also became the first driver to win Winter Dirt Games main events at both Ocala and Volusia Speedways.

Daison Pursley finished second, securing his fifth consecutive podium finish of the season. C.J. Leary, who led 29 of the 31 laps, settled for third. Justin Grant and Brady Bacon completed the top five.

The win strengthened Cummins' points lead in both the USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship and Winter Dirt Games XVI standings. His performance demonstrated his team's versatility, winning on both Volusia's 1/2-mile and Ocala's 3/8-mile tracks.

Robert Ballou earned hard charger honors, advancing from 15th to 9th place. Daison Pursley set the fastest qualifying time, his third of the season and 10th of his career.

The USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship continues at Ocala Speedway on February 15, 2025, for the next round of Winter Dirt Games XVI.
