Dale Coyne Racing holds the final two available seats for the 2025 NTT IndyCar Series, maintaining their reputation as a gateway for new talent in the sport.

With 25 of 27 full-time entries already confirmed, including recent announcements of Dev DeFrancesco at Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and Conor Daly at Juncos Hollinger Racing, Coyne aims to finalize both seats by mid-January 2025, ahead of the March 2 season opener at St. Petersburg.
Unlike the 2024 season's rotating driver lineup in the Nos. 18 and 51 Hondas, Coyne is focused on securing two full-season drivers. The team is evaluating several proven professionals, including Rinus VeeKay, Linus Lundqvist, and Toby Sowery, among others.
Coyne is simultaneously working on bringing in an investor/partner, which could enable the team to hire at least one top-tier driver without requiring driver funding. While this process is progressing, albeit slower than desired, it remains a crucial factor in the team's driver selection process.
The Illinois-based team owner expects to announce their final driver lineup between mid to late January, completing the full IndyCar grid for the 2025 season.
