Lee Giannone Takes the Helm as New CEO of Parella Motorsports Holdings
Lee Giannone has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Parella Motorsports Holdings (PMH), while founder Tony Parella remains a significant shareholder and board member.

PMH operates several premier motorsports properties including:
- Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (largest vintage racing organization globally)
- Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli
- International GT
- Prototype Sprint Series Association
- Formula Regional Americas Championship
- Formula 4 United States Championship
- Ligier JS F4 Series
The company manages over 25 high-profile motorsports events annually across iconic venues including Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Circuit of The Americas, Road America, Watkins Glen International, and Sebring International Raceway, attracting more than 100,000 fans and participants.
Giannone brings extensive experience in automotive finance, institutional markets, and motorsports consulting. He previously served as Director of Mecum Finance at Mecum Auctions, Inc., where he led finance integrations and strategic initiatives. He is also a 25-year Porsche GT and GTP prototype driver with decades of vintage motorsports experience.
The appointment follows Velocity Capital Management's acquisition of PMH in 2023, along with co-investors Cohesive Capital and Bolt Ventures. Velocity aims to provide capital and strategic support to expand PMH's motorsports platform.
