Jack Lehner's focused plan for the 2025 Super DIRTcar Series builds on his strong 2024 finish, where he secured sixth place in championship points with six top 10s in the final eight races.

The Saratoga Springs, NY driver has strengthened his program by bringing on Brendan Darrah as his full-time crew member. Beyond their professional relationship, Lehner mentors Darrah, who drives his own Big Block Modified, creating a mutually beneficial partnership that enhances their racing program.

Lehner's strategy for success focuses on self-improvement rather than comparing himself to champions like Mat Williamson and Matt Sheppard. This approach nearly paid off in 2023 at Volusia Speedway Park, where he finished second to Williamson in the week's finale.

For the 2025 season opener at Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (Feb. 12-15), Lehner is ditching last year's experimental setup in favor of proven basics. After finishing outside the top 10 in all three nights last year, he's confident this strategic shift will put him at the front of the pack.

His primary goals for 2025 include:

  • Securing his first Series win
  • Finishing in the top five in championship points
  • Building on his program's momentum from late 2024
  • Maintaining consistent front-running performance

With all pieces falling into place and a refined approach to racing, Lehner appears poised for his strongest Super DIRTcar Series season yet.
