The RC F GT3's journey began in 2017 with 3GT team before finding success with Vasser Sullivan. Under Vasser Sullivan's management, the car claimed victories at major IMSA events, including the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Petit Le Mans, culminating in the 2023 GTD PRO title.

The new GT3 GR model, reportedly featuring a turbocharged V8 engine, has already undergone testing in Europe. U.S. testing is expected to begin early this year, preparing for its racing debut at Daytona in January 2026. This transition comes as the RC F GT3 currently stands as the oldest model in the WeatherTech SportsCar championship.
