PREMA Racing managed limited running with Robert Schwartzman's No. 83 Chevrolet after switching to a backup chassis overnight, following Friday's fuel line issue that caused a fire. The team completed an installation lap just before the session ended.
The 45-minute practice session ran under optimal conditions with clear skies, as teams focused on qualifying setups for the afternoon's grid-setting session scheduled for 5:05-6:30 pm PT.
