The third-generation driver brings significant experience to the team, including a 2020 pole position and three third-place finishes at the iconic race his grandfather Mario won in 1969. He'll join forces with 2022 Indy 500 winner Marcus Ericsson, strengthening Andretti Global's pursuit of victory at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Andretti Global's COO Rob Edwards emphasized the value of Marco's experience and continuity with the team, noting that running a fourth car provides additional opportunities for data collection and setup optimization. The familiar partnership between Marco and the team is expected to enhance their collaborative efforts in pursuit of success at the 2025 Indianapolis 500.
