The 17-year-old will pilot the No. 18 entry in Indy NXT events at Barber Motorsports Park, Detroit Grand Prix, Iowa Speedway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, and Milwaukee Mile. His main focus remains on securing the USF Pro 2000 championship.

Taylor's rapid progression through motorsports began in 2021 with regional karting, followed by national success in 2022. His achievements include winning the P1 Stars Championship and securing podium finishes in prestigious karting events. In 2023, he entered USF Juniors, securing one win and sixth place in the championship.

2024 marked a breakthrough year as Taylor competed in both USF Juniors and USF2000. He claimed the USF Juniors championship with three wins and finished third in USF2000 with four victories.

HMD Motorsports team president Mike Maurini praised Taylor's talent, noting his impressive performance during recent testing at Sebring. Before his Indy NXT debut in May at Barber, Taylor will participate in four series tests with the team.

His 2025 season begins in late February at St. Petersburg with his USF Pro 2000 debut. The No. 18 car will feature sponsorship from PINK, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Simplify Asset Management, Unicorn, and Hedgeye.

"I am anxious and excited to get the 2025 season officially underway," said Taylor. "I have been fortunate enough to test in Indy NXT as I continue to further my development, but my number one goal and focus is the USF Pro 2000 championship."
