The Mazda 6e emerges as the brand's second electric vehicle, combining elegant design with impressive performance specifications. Set to launch in 2026, this electric saloon targets the premium EV market alongside Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2.

The exterior showcases Mazda's signature design language, featuring a wide grille with LED strip accents and slim headlights. The low bonnet line and sharp body contours create a sporty silhouette, complemented by 19-inch wheels.

Inside, the 6e offers a driver-focused cockpit with a sophisticated blend of black and beige materials. The cabin features a 14.6-inch touchscreen, 10.2-inch digital driver's display, and an optional augmented reality head-up display.

Two battery options are available:

• 69kWh battery: 300-mile range, 258hp
• 80kWh battery: 345-mile range, 244hp

Both variants feature rear-wheel drive and achieve 0-60mph in approximately 7.6-7.8 seconds. DC rapid charging enables 10-80% charging in 22 minutes.

The 6e is expected to start around £50,000 when it launches in early 2026, positioning it competitively in the electric saloon segment.

Key features include a panoramic glass roof, full-width rear light bar, and a ducktail spoiler, emphasizing both luxury and sportiness in its design approach.

While its range falls short of the Tesla Model 3's 436 miles, the 6e's combination of style, performance, and practicality makes it a compelling option in the electric vehicle market.
