Mercedes is undergoing a major transformation following Lewis Hamilton's departure, with team principal Toto Wolff focusing on a new era with a younger driver lineup. George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli will lead the team's future direction.

The separation was mutually beneficial, according to Wolff, who acknowledged the iconic nature of Hamilton's first appearances with Ferrari, including photo opportunities at Enzo Ferrari's house. Meanwhile, Mercedes is embracing its fresh start with Russell, an accomplished race winner, paired alongside newcomer Antonelli.

Evidence of Mercedes' continued strong market position comes through a new partnership with Adidas, marking the sportswear brand's first Formula 1 collaboration. The deal demonstrates that Hamilton's exit hasn't diminished the team's commercial appeal.

"When I discussed Lewis going and Kimi coming with the CEO, he said, 'This is so exciting. Let's go on the next generation!'" Wolff explained. The team maintains positive momentum with both existing and new partners, showing no signs of decline following Hamilton's departure.

The team is focused on reinvention while maintaining its competitive edge in Formula 1, with strong support from partners and a clear vision for the future. Wolff emphasizes that the team's atmosphere remains energetic and forward-looking as they enter this new chapter.
