Newgarden tops final practice before St. Pete GP
Team Penske's Josef Newgarden dominated the final warmup session before the Firestone GP of St. Petersburg, setting a fastest lap of 1m01.1952s in his No. 2 PPG Chevrolet. Despite starting from 10th position in today's race, Newgarden showed impressive pace during the 30-minute session.
Honda-powered cars demonstrated strong performance, with Chip Ganassi Racing teammates Scott Dixon and Alex Palou securing the second and third fastest times respectively.
