Nick Hoffman is maximizing his 2024 offseason by combining family time with race preparation for the upcoming World of Outlaws Late Models season.

Recently, Hoffman built a UMP Modified for his father, Darrell Hoffman, to race at The Dome at America's Center. The same car will be used by Kenny Wallace at the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals in February.

The car featured a nostalgic design reminiscent of Darrell's 1990s Modified, creating a special moment for both father and son. Darrell praised it as the best car he's ever driven at the event.

Kenny Wallace, who scored eight Feature wins in 2024, will drive the same chassis at Volusia Speedway Park. Wallace aims for the Big Gator trophy after coming close last year before an engine failure derailed his chances.

Hoffman will also compete in the Chili Bowl Nationals in January, piloting a NOS Energy Drink Midget at the Tulsa Expo Center. This represents a different racing style that Hoffman believes helps improve his overall racing abilities.

After finishing third in points last season, Hoffman has consolidated his operations under one roof to better manage both his Modified and Late Model programs. This strategic move aims to strengthen his championship pursuit in 2024.

The season begins with the DIRTcar Sunshine Nationals (January 22-25), followed by the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals (January 30-February 8). The latter features nine nights of racing, with six counting toward the Big Gator championship points.
