Harmon credited his success to his previous Shootout experience and time spent in MX-5 Cup cars throughout the season. "It's everything that me and my dad, my family, we've all worked for the last three years," Harmon stated after his win.
Runner-up Meza, who previously earned a spot on the Mazda Club Racing Factory Team, impressed judges with his outstanding performance despite being new to the MX-5 Cup car. Speed's victory includes additional support from Whelen Motorsports to enhance her racing career development.
The 2025 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin will commence at Daytona International Speedway from January 22-24, where all three scholarship winners will compete.
