NRG Energy now offers 12 months of complimentary charging for select electric vehicle buyers in Texas. This initiative, announced at the Houston Auto Show, applies to specific vehicle purchases in Houston and Dallas metropolitan areas.

Eligible vehicles and dealerships include:

• Nissan Leaf (all dealers in Houston/Dallas areas)
• Chevrolet Volt (AutoNation Chevrolet dealerships)
• Ford electric vehicles (Planet Ford dealership in Spring)

Charging services are available at eVgo stations, conveniently located at various retail locations including grocery stores and pharmacies. Houston area currently features 17 eVgo charging stations.

This program aims to incentivize electric vehicle adoption by eliminating charging costs during the first year of ownership, making the transition to electric vehicles more economically attractive for Texas residents.
