Simon Property Group (SPG) has partnered with NRG eVgo, a subsidiary of NRG Energy, Inc. (NRG), to install Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations across its shopping mall properties.

The initial rollout includes three Freedom Station fast-charging sites at Maryland locations:

• Bowie Town Center
• St. Charles Towne Center
• Queenstown Premium Outlets

The official unveiling ceremony is scheduled for April 22 (Earth Day), marking Simon Property's commitment to sustainable shopping experiences and environmental responsibility.

This initiative aims to enhance customer convenience by providing essential charging infrastructure for the growing number of electric vehicle owners while they shop.
