Billy Pauch Jr., renowned racer from Frenchtown, NJ, is returning to Volusia Speedway Park for the 2025 Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals, seeking his first Super DIRTcar Series victory and Volusia win, following in his father's footsteps.

Racing at the "World's Fastest Half Mile" from Feb. 12-15, Pauch Jr. aims to secure one of the three remaining accomplishments in his career: a Freedom 76er win, a miscellaneous win, and a Super DIRTcar Series victory.

Pauch appreciates Volusia's unique racing characteristics, noting, "The speed you carry around there is faster than you think. It's even faster than Charlotte. You can run the top on the fence, run the bottom, and not burn tires off."

His 2024 debut showed promising progress, improving from consecutive 18th-place finishes to a 13th-place finish in the finale. The transition to Hoosier Tires from his usual American Racers presented additional challenges, though he maintained success at home tracks with seven to eight wins last season.

For 2025, Pauch's strategy is clear: "We have to roll out of the box better. I have to come out night one and run top 10 and then build the rest of the week." He'll be competing in the same No. 1 car that his father made famous, targeting both his first Series win and a coveted gator trophy at DIRTcar Nationals.

Tickets for the 2025 Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals are available at DIRTcarNationals.com.
