Big Machine previously managed the Nashville Grand Prix street race from 2021-2023 and successfully relocated the event to Nashville Superspeedway in 2024 due to downtown construction of the Tennessee Titans stadium. Under Borchetta's leadership, the event featured downtown launch parties, live performances from Big Machine Records artists, and extensive promotional campaigns.

Despite orchestrating one of the season's most successful oval races, Big Machine will step back to a sponsorship role. Borchetta will continue organizing the downtown Nashville launch event for the upcoming race scheduled for August 30-31 in Lebanon, Tennessee.

This change expands Penske Entertainment's control over IndyCar events. The company now manages or is involved with numerous races including:

  • Long Beach Grand Prix
  • Indianapolis Grand Prix
  • Indianapolis 500
  • Detroit Grand Prix
  • Iowa Speedway doubleheader
  • Milwaukee
  • Nashville
  • Arlington Grand Prix (upcoming 2026)
  • Denver street race (planned for 2027)

While Penske Entertainment has not officially commented, an update from the series is expected soon.
