The partnership combines Risi's technical expertise with DragonSpeed's racing pedigree, marking DragonSpeed's first full-time GT entry. Risi is providing mechanics and engineering support while DragonSpeed manages overall operations.

"Everything is going very well," says Rigon. "During the Roar, we really improved the car. The team is well-prepared, though we know achieving results here is challenging."

The No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3 stands as Ferrari's sole GTD PRO entry among eight Ferrari cars at Daytona. Rigon shares driving duties with Ferrari factory drivers Miguel Molina, Thomas Neubauer, and Albert Costa, who is confirmed for a full-time role.

New IMSA race procedures will help reduce interference between GTD PRO and GTD classes. "This is much better," Rigon notes. "Last year, fighting with GTDs was unnecessary. Now it's clearer for viewers and allows more technical racing within our class."

Despite qualifying challenges, with Ferrari teams showing limited pace, Rigon remains optimistic. "It will be tough, but we'll give our best. As DragonSpeed team and Ferrari, we're focused on maximizing our preparation for the season ahead."

The team's combination of experienced drivers, technical support from Risi, and DragonSpeed's racing expertise positions them well for the challenging 24-hour race, despite facing stiff competition in the GTD PRO class.
