Riley Motorsports Takes Command of Lamborghini's GTP Endurance Campaign in IMSA 2025
Lamborghini has confirmed its entry in IMSA's five WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance rounds for 2025, with Riley Motorsports set to operate the program. The team will field a single Lamborghini SC63 GTP car in the Michelin Endurance Cup events.
Riley Technologies and Riley Motorsports, led by Bob and Bill Riley, bring extensive prototype racing experience to the program. Their impressive track record includes:
- Designing the Chevy Intrepid GTP
- Developing Cadillac's initial prototype program in the 1990s
- Creating Grand-Am's most successful Daytona Prototype
- Leading Dodge to an IMSA GTLM championship
- Securing championships in LMP3 with the Robinson family

The program will receive technical and sporting support from Lamborghini Squadra Corse, with full program details to be announced. This partnership marks a significant continuation of Lamborghini's commitment to top-level sports car racing in North America.
Bob Riley, the company's founder who was inducted into IMSA's Hall of Fame in October 2024, passed away at 92 shortly after his induction. His legacy continues through this new chapter in Riley Motorsports' history.
