Sam Hafertepe Jr., five-time American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Tour champion, has renewed his partnership with Hill's Racing for the 2025 season. The 39-year-old Texan will pursue a record-breaking sixth championship across the full 41-race schedule.

Hafertepe will drive his signature Townline Variety, Fischer Racing Engines-powered Triple X Chassis No. 15H, marking his eighth consecutive season with the Ontario-based team. Currently tied with Jason Johnson for most National Tour titles, Hafertepe is also just one win away from matching Johnson's 79 career victories.

Despite winning 12 Feature races in 2024, Hafertepe finished second in the championship to Seth Bergman. The team's split focus between 410 and 360 Sprint Car races affected their consistency, with nine finishes of 13th or worse impacting their championship campaign.

For 2025, Hafertepe and Hill's Racing have developed a more focused approach:

• Full commitment to the ASCS National Tour
• Improved preparation and organization
• Focus on consistency throughout the season
• Support for the series' new direction under World Racing Group

The championship pursuit begins at Volusia Speedway Park during the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals, January 30-February 1, 2025. Two more Feature wins would place Hafertepe second on the all-time National Tour wins list, trailing only Gary Wright's 127 victories.
