Sette Camara Named Nissan Formula E Reserve Driver Following ERT Departure
Sergio Sette Camara has joined Nissan Formula E Team as reserve and simulator driver following his departure from ERT (now Cupra Kiro). His first appearance in the new role will be at this weekend's Sao Paulo E-Prix, where he'll support race drivers Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato in developing the new Nissan e-4ORCE 05 GEN3 Evo car.

Sette Camara brings significant Formula E experience, having made 66 starts for Dragon/Penske Autosport and ERT over four seasons. His best result was fourth place at the 2021 Diriyah E-Prix. Last season, he scored points three times but finished behind teammate Dan Ticktum in the championship standings.
The Brazilian's racing background includes three successful seasons in Formula 2, where he secured three wins and 15 podium finishes. He has also served as a test driver for multiple Formula 1 teams, including Toro Rosso, McLaren, and Aston Martin.
Tommaso Volpe, Nissan Formula E Team managing director and team principal, emphasized the strategic importance of signing an experienced driver like Sette Camara, noting his ability to contribute to race preparation and maximize point-scoring opportunities given Formula E's complexity.
"I'm thrilled to join Nissan Formula E Team," said Sette Camara. "Working with a major manufacturer has been a goal of mine, and Nissan's recent progress in Season 10 makes this an exciting opportunity. I'm eager to contribute to the team's development as we enter the GEN3 Evo era."
