"I'm pumped," Stenhouse said, having spent a week in Florida preparing for the race. His recent track record at the Daytona 500 is impressive, having been in contention to win for the past three consecutive years (2022-2024), including his victory in 2023.

The rebranded Hyak Motorsports team (formerly JTG Motorsports) has undergone significant changes under new team principal Gordon Smith. The organization has strengthened its competition department with new hires, demonstrating their commitment to success.

Stenhouse's strategy for Sunday's race is clear: execute the game plan, save fuel, avoid wrecks, and maintain fast pit stops. He emphasizes the importance of being near the front with 15-20 laps remaining to have a realistic shot at victory.

"In speedway racing, that is one of the key things at being good – you have to have the mindset that you can win, and that you will win," Stenhouse stated, highlighting the mental fortitude required for success at Daytona.
