Initial race leader Brent Crews, who set a track record in qualifying, retired with transmission issues. Paul Menard, who challenged for the lead late in the race, ended up in the gravel trap following a lockup. The race finished under yellow flags, with Brabham leading Adam Andretti and David Pintaric to the podium.
In other classes:
- XGT: Paul Tracy dominated for his second season victory
- SGT: Joshua Carlson led flag-to-flag for consecutive wins
- GT: Chris Coffey secured his second victory of 2024
- GT1 Challenge: Rob Dickey won in his Trans Am debut
"The cars are some of the most fun I've ever driven in my life," said Brabham post-race. "To race these things is just so much fun. I'm always happy to replace Chris whenever he feels the need to call me up."
