Both drivers demonstrated strong potential during pre-season testing in Spain, with Ticktum finishing second and Beckmann fourth fastest overall. The duo completed 421 combined laps at the Jarama circuit.

Team principal Alex Hui emphasized Kiro's ambition to become consistent top-10 contenders, describing Ticktum as "the best British driver not in F1" and praising Beckmann's existing Formula E experience, which includes two race starts and three seasons as a reserve driver.

Ticktum joins Kiro after three seasons with NIO/ERT, where he secured nine points finishes in 48 starts. "Formula E is unlike any other form of motorsport – the racing is relentless, the on-track battles are fierce, and it pushes you to your limits," said Ticktum, expressing optimism about regular top-10 performances following promising pre-season testing.

Beckmann, a Formula 2 podium finisher, brings valuable experience from his previous roles with Andretti and Porsche. He made two Formula E starts for Andretti in the 2022-23 season. Kiro will operate as a Porsche customer team, utilizing the German manufacturer's previous season technology.

"Although I'll be a rookie this year, I'm coming into the season with unique experience having seen the evolution from GEN2 to GEN3, and again with the GEN3 Evo," said Beckmann, who looks forward to the season opener in Sao Paulo this Saturday.
