
USAC: C.J. Leary Dominates Ocala Practice Ahead of Volusia Opener
C.J. Leary dominated Sunday's USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship practice at Ocala Speedway, setting the fastest time of 15.347 seconds on the 3/8-mile dirt track. This marks Leary's first outing with Team AZ/Curb-Agajanian Racing since joining late last year.

The practice session, part of Winter Dirt Games XVI preparation, saw 30 cars and 29 drivers participating. Notable performances included:
- Daison Pursley (CB Industries) - Second fastest at 15.389
- Kyle Cummins (Petty Performance Racing) - Third at 15.428
- Chase Stockon - Placed both fourth (15.492) and fifth (15.621) with different cars
The 2025 USAC National Sprint Car season kicks off Monday, February 10, at Volusia Speedway Park. Schedule:
- Pits and grandstands open: 3 PM Eastern
- Drivers meeting: 4:30 PM
- Engine heat: 5 PM
- Hot laps, qualifying, and racing: 5:30 PM
