USAC Hall of Fame Welcomes Racing Legends Holdeman, Johncock Among 2025 Inductees

USAC has announced its 2025 Hall of Fame inductees, adding seven new members to this prestigious institution. The induction ceremony will take place on July 2, 2025, at USAC headquarters in Speedway, Indiana, during the BC39 festivities.

The 2025 inductees include:

Jack Bowsher A dominant force in USAC Stock Car competition with 21 wins as a driver and 38 victories as a car owner. Notable for three consecutive ARCA championships (1963-1965) and fielding cars for legends like A.J. Foyt and Parnelli Jones.

Dave Darland One of eight USAC Triple Crown champions, holding records for most USAC National Sprint Car victories (62) and starts (1,334). Won championships in Silver Crown (1997), Sprint (1999), and Midget (2001-2002).

Bob Estes USAC founding father and successful team owner who captured multiple championships in the 1950s. Served as national car owner representative from 1955-1960 and achieved notable success at the Indianapolis 500.

Bob Hampshire Legendary car owner and crew chief who orchestrated dominant eras with Jack Hewitt and Kody Swanson. His achievements include multiple Silver Crown championships and the first retired number (#63) in USAC Silver Crown series.

Roger & Linda Holdeman Transformed Winchester Speedway through significant improvements and hosted 123 USAC events. Named USAC's Race Organizers of the Year in 1990 for their outstanding contribution to motorsports.

Tommy Hunt Served as USAC Vice President and west coast operations head for 28 years (1986-2013). Instrumental in developing multiple racing series and recognized with the Dick Jordan Award of Excellence.

Gordon Johncock Two-time Indianapolis 500 winner (1973, 1982) and 1976 championship winner. Accumulated 20 USAC National Championship victories and demonstrated versatility across multiple racing disciplines.

This class joins a distinguished list of inductees dating back to 2012, representing the most influential figures in American auto racing history.
