Williams has unveiled its 2025 Formula 1 car, the FW47, at Silverstone Circuit, marking a significant departure from their previous launch strategies. Carlos Sainz, following his move from Ferrari, completed the car's initial shakedown runs on wet tires under cold but mostly dry conditions.

The early launch follows McLaren's unveiling of their MCL39, with Williams conducting a live broadcast event at the British Grand Prix venue. Team Principal James Vowles describes the FW47 as an evolution of their 2024 design, with specific focus on improving high-speed corner performance.
