BMW Dominates Third Roar Session at Daytona with Wittmann's Fastest Lap
BMW's Marco Wittmann set the fastest time of 1m36.798s in the No. 25 BMW Team RLL M Hybrid V8 during Session 3 of the Roar Before the 24 at Daytona, maintaining BMW's strong form from the previous day.

The session saw tight competition in the GTP class, with MSR Acura's No. 93, driven by Renger van der Zande, finishing second with a 1m36.928s. The No. 6 Penske Porsche rounded out the top three, all within two-tenths of the leader.
Notable performances included:
- No. 7 Porsche (sixth place) returned to action after previous session issues
- No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac finished fifth
- All 12 GTP cars completed over 20 laps, with the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac logging the most at 42 laps
Class leaders:
- LMP2: Riley's No. 73 ORECA (1m40.108s)
- GTD: Forte Racing's No. 78 Lamborghini Huracan (1m48.036s)
- GTD PRO: Pfaff's No. 9 Lamborghini
The session included one red flag to remove a displaced WeatherTech advertising board and featured a trial run of the new 2025 category split procedure during full-course yellows.
