Bubba Wallace dominated the Cup Series practice session at Homestead-Miami Speedway, setting the fastest lap at 166.955mph (32.344s) during his first attempt. The 23XI Racing driver completed 24 laps total.

Notable performances included points leader William Byron in 17th, Kyle Busch in 20th, and Chase Elliott in 33rd. Defending Homestead-Miami winner Tyler Reddick finished ninth in practice.

Wallace also led the best 10 consecutive lap average, followed by Hamlin, Larson, Blaney, and Gragson. Chase Elliott ran the most laps (41), while JJ Yeley completed the fewest (12).

The only incident reported was Erik Jones running over debris, causing damage to his Toyota's underbody, which the team worked to repair before qualifying.

A total of 37 teams participated, including 36 charter teams and one Open team led by JJ Yeley. Cup Series qualifying followed at 2:10 p.m. ET.
