Casey Mears is making his NASCAR Cup Series comeback at Martinsville Speedway on March 30, marking his first Cup race since the 2019 Daytona 500. The 47-year-old veteran will pilot the No. 66 Ford Mustang for Garage 66, with HitchGO serving as the primary sponsor.

Mears, who has accumulated 489 Cup Series starts throughout his career, achieved his sole victory at the 2007 Coca-Cola 600 while driving for Hendrick Motorsports. His extensive NASCAR career includes stints with prestigious teams like Chip Ganassi Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Red Bull Racing, Tommy Baldwin Racing, and Germain Racing.

"I'm happy to be back in a race car and look forward to returning to Martinsville, one of my favorite tracks," said Mears. The partnership with Garage 66 adds another notable team to his impressive resume, as he approaches the milestone of 500 NASCAR Cup Series starts.

Garage 66, an Open team making only their second attempt of the season after missing the Daytona 500 with Chandler Smith, views Mears's addition as a significant milestone. Team representative Carl Long expressed pride in adding Garage 66 to Mears's list of accomplished teams, praising the driver's character and racing heritage.

The race will feature support from HitchGO, a mobile RV repair service, alongside Mosby's Towing and Transport, and Coble Enterprises as additional sponsors for the Martinsville event.
