Ed Carpenter Racing Unveils New Brand Identity for 2025 IndyCar Campaign
Ed Carpenter Racing has undergone its first major rebranding since 2012, marking a significant transformation for the IndyCar team. The new design features the team's initials "ecr" in lowercase, positioned within an aerial view of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's 2.5-mile oval, replacing their previous cursive logo.

The rebrand introduces a new color palette, including "Indiana Gold," which pays tribute to the team's Hoosier heritage. This change coincides with the addition of Ted Gelov, owner of Heartland Food Products Group, as the team's new chairman and sponsor.
The team's connection to Indianapolis runs deep, with Carpenter's family legacy in motorsport dating back to 1945 when Tony Hulman Jr. saved the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from closure after World War II.
For the 2025 season, ECR will field sophomore driver Christian Rasmussen and veteran Alexander Rossi. Ed Carpenter himself will return to compete in the Indianapolis 500, seeking to add to his three pole positions at the historic race.
"This rebranding represents ECR's evolution as we take aggressive steps towards returning to victory lane and competing for championships," stated Carpenter, expressing his enthusiasm for the team's future direction.
