Elfyn Evans holds a slim 3.0-second lead over Toyota teammate Takamoto Katsuta heading into the final day of WRC Rally Sweden, with Hyundai's Thierry Neuville sitting third just 6.3 seconds off the lead.
Evans started Saturday with a mere 0.6-second advantage but managed to extend it to 8.6 seconds in the afternoon, aided by Katsuta's junction overshoot. However, Evans later stalled his car in the day's final stage, dramatically reducing his lead.
Neuville made significant progress, moving up from fifth to third after teammate Ott Tanak encountered coolant issues. Tanak now sits fourth, while Kalle Rovanpera holds fifth position in his Toyota, just 10.1 seconds behind Tanak.
Adrien Fourmaux's podium hopes ended after getting stuck in a snow bank, while Martins Sesks maintains sixth place in the leading M-Sport Ford Puma. In WRC2, Oliver Solberg extended his lead to 39.0 seconds over Roope Korhonen.
Current standings after Saturday (Top 5):

- Thierry Neuville/Martijn Wydaeghe (Hyundai) +6.3s
- Ott Tanak/Martin Jarveoja (Hyundai) +12.8s

Sunday's finale features three stages totaling 42.74 competitive miles, setting up a intense battle for the overall victory in Umea.
