
Ganassi Duo Palou and Dixon Dominate Thermal Club Warmup
Chip Ganassi Racing dominated the 25-minute warmup session before the IndyCar Grand Prix at The Thermal Club. Alex Palou led with a 1m40.3667s lap time, followed by teammate Scott Dixon (+0.46s) and Team Penske's Josef Newgarden (+0.5695s).

The session showed promising improvements for several teams that struggled in qualifying:
- Team Penske: Newgarden's third-place warmup time offers hope after all Penske drivers failed to advance past round one in qualifying
- Graham Rahal: Jumped to fourth fastest despite starting 18th
- Callum Ilott: Showed PREMA Racing's potential with fifth-place time after qualifying 22nd
- Pole-sitter Pato O'Ward finished 19th in warmup

Palou, who starts third behind Arrow McLaren drivers O'Ward and Christian Lundgaard, nearly matched his qualifying pace on the 3.6-mile road course.
