Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton and Pierre Gasly have been disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix following post-race technical inspections.

The Ferrari and Alpine cars of Leclerc and Gasly were found to be 1kg underweight, with both teams acknowledging this was due to team error with no mitigating circumstances. The FIA's measurements were not challenged, and all required procedures were confirmed to have been performed correctly.
Hamilton's Mercedes failed inspection due to excessive wear on the rearward skids. The team admitted this resulted from a setup mistake with no other contributing factors.
These disqualifications significantly impact the race results:
- Leclerc and Hamilton's original P5 and P6 finishes are voided
- Esteban Ocon (Haas) moves up to P5
- Kimi Antonelli and Alex Albon advance to P6 and P7
- Ollie Bearman, Lance Stroll, and Carlos Sainz complete the points positions
Despite initially finishing P11, Gasly's disqualification means Alpine remains the only team without points this season.
The stewards' decisions were unanimous, with all three teams accepting the technical violations and subsequent penalties without appeal.
