Formula 1 is "feeling very comfortable" about the Las Vegas Grand Prix's future despite entering the final year of its initial contract, according to new president Emily Prazer, who has taken over from CEO Renee Wilm.

The race organizers are currently working through a renewal process with key stakeholders, including casinos and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). Prazer emphasized that all indicators point toward establishing long-term relationships with local partners.

For 2025, the event announced reduced ticket prices to improve fan accessibility:

  • Single-day tickets starting at $50
  • Three-day passes from $400
  • New grandstands added at Turn 3
  • Public ticket sales begin April 9

The Las Vegas Grand Prix has become fully integrated into F1's operations, with Prazer now reporting directly to F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali. This integration streamlines decision-making and allows the event to serve as a testing ground for new initiatives that can be implemented across F1's global operations.

The United States remains F1's biggest growth opportunity for sponsorship, licensing, and commercial revenue. The successful operational delivery of the Las Vegas race, including complex productions like F1 75 Live and the opening ceremony, has demonstrated the event's capability to innovate and improve year over year.

The organizers are committed to continuing operational improvements, focusing on minimizing local disruption from road closures while maintaining high-quality race delivery. The new pricing strategy aims to encourage early ticket sales, with organizers pledging not to reduce prices closer to the event date.
