FOX Sports has announced the third season of "100 Days To Indy" will premiere on May 22 on FOX Nation streaming service, moving from its previous home on The CW. The six-part docuseries will expand beyond its traditional format with additional content in development.

FOX is creating at least one, possibly two, Indianapolis 500-specific documentaries to serve as primers for their first broadcast of the iconic race. These documentaries will cover both the event's rich history since 1911 and highlight current teams and drivers.

The network's move to educate new viewers continues their strategy demonstrated in the first three IndyCar races, where they included personality features and technical insights. FOX Nation currently has 2-2.5 million subscribers, according to CEO Lachlan Murdoch, though previous seasons available on Netflix have reached larger global audiences.

Key changes for the new season include:

  • Premiere date: May 22, three days before the Indy 500
  • Extended coverage beyond the Indy 500 through the championship
  • Season finale coverage at Nashville Speedway on August 31
  • Additional feature content focusing on the sport's history and current stars

The series will maintain its documentary-style approach while expanding coverage to showcase the entire 2025 championship battle, marking a significant evolution from previous seasons that primarily focused on the lead-up to the Indianapolis 500.
