FOX to Launch Sports Streaming Platform in 2025 with Full IndyCar Coverage
FOX is launching a dedicated sports streaming service by the end of 2025, providing a new platform for IndyCar content following VENU Sports' closure.

IndyCar racing through Long Beach circuit
The new direct-to-consumer service will include:
- FOX network (all IndyCar races)
- FOX Sports 1 and 2 (practices, qualifying, and Indy NXT series)
- Additional sports programming
CEO Lachlan Murdoch emphasized that while FOX remains committed to traditional cable, this new service aims to reach cord-cutters and cord-never audiences. The move comes as a solution for IndyCar fans who currently lack official streaming options for the 2025 season.
Current cable subscribers can continue accessing streaming content through the FOX Sports app on multiple platforms:
- Android and Android TV
- Google Chromecast
- Amazon Fire TV
- Vizio
- Xbox
- Apple TV
- Roku
- Samsung Smart TV
Additionally, FOX's free streaming platform Tubi will broadcast select major sporting events, potentially including the Indianapolis 500, though it won't serve as a comprehensive sports streaming solution.
The new streaming service addresses the gap left by VENU Sports' dissolution and provides a dedicated platform for sports fans seeking alternative viewing options outside traditional cable subscriptions.
