Maximilian Guenther achieved a remarkable triple feat at the Jeddah E-Prix, securing pole position, fastest lap, and race victory - but the win required exceptional skill and strategic timing.

The victory came through a dramatic last-lap pass, making Guenther the first pole-sitter to win in Formula E after 17 races. His strategic advantage came from having an extra Attack Mode after Oliver Rowland, who finished second, used his first before pitting.

After emerging from his 30-second fast charge in eighth position, Guenther remained confident, knowing he had two Attack Modes remaining. He steadily worked his way through the field, initially targeting a podium finish before seeing an opportunity to challenge Rowland for the win.

The decisive moment came in the final corner, where Rowland's need to conserve energy gave Guenther the opening he needed. Despite Rowland's strong defensive driving, Guenther capitalized on his energy advantage to secure the win.

This victory marks Guenther's sixth in Formula E and his first with DS Penske since joining the team. He attributes the success to a strong start to the season, building on solid performances in previous races at Sao Paulo and Mexico.
