The Haas Formula 1 team has unveiled its 2025 challenger, the VF-25, following its appearance at the F1 75 Live event at London's O2 Arena. The team completed a private shakedown at Silverstone before the official reveal.

Team principal Ayao Komatsu expressed high motivation for the new season, highlighting the team's strong fight for sixth place in the 2024 constructors' championship. The VF-25 represents the culmination of collaborative efforts across their facilities in Kannapolis, Banbury, and Maranello.

Head of aerodynamics Davide Paganelli revealed that the team focused on addressing the VF-24's weaknesses, particularly improving the rear of the car and rear wing design. Key objectives include:

  • Enhanced performance consistency across different circuits
  • Better adaptation to varying race conditions
  • Improved performance in hot weather conditions
  • Greater development potential throughout the season

Gene Haas, team owner, praised the team's progress under new leadership in 2024 and expressed optimism about continued performance gains with new drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman at the wheel.

The team aims to build on their seventh-place finish in the 2024 constructors' championship, with expectations of improved consistency and competitiveness throughout the 2025 season.
