Heart of Racing Expands to GTD PRO Class for Rolex 24 at Daytona
The Heart of Racing team has expanded its Rolex 24 At Daytona lineup with a GTD PRO entry, complementing their existing GTD commitment. This addition comes as their Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR GTP entry's debut was delayed until Sebring.

The No. 007 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo in GTD PRO will feature Ross Gunn, Roman De Angelis, Alex Riberas, and Marco Sorensen. The team recently secured a third-place finish at Motul Petit Le Mans, while Sorensen returns for his third consecutive Daytona start following his 2023 Rolex 24 victory with the No. 27 team.
For the No. 27 GTD entry, the team welcomes back Zacharie Robichon and Tom Gamble, joined by newcomers Mattia Drudi and Casper Stevenson. Notably, team principal Ian James will not be driving in the Rolex 24 for the first time since the team's 2020 inception.
"We have two really strong line-ups this year for Daytona," said James. "Though it is a little bittersweet for me, I think these young guys will do a great job and hopefully we can come out after 24 hours with a podium finish."
The teams will begin testing at the Roar Before the 24 on January 17-19, with the Rolex 24 scheduled for January 23-26.
