Ferrari permitted Sainz to participate in Williams' post-race Pirelli tire test, following a filming day where he completed limited mileage. The Spanish driver expressed confidence about the transition, revealing he was already analyzing Ferrari's performance characteristics during his final race.

"I was already starting to feel things in the car and trying to remember how this feels," Sainz explained after Sunday's race, noting that he wanted to identify areas where Williams might need improvement compared to Ferrari's strengths.

Despite his focus on the future, Sainz maintained his commitment to Ferrari through his final race while looking forward to the new challenge. "My competitive mind is already looking forward to Monday and Tuesday and to see how I can make that Williams car faster," he stated.

The driver's enthusiasm translated into impressive performance during Tuesday's Pirelli test, where he completed 146 laps - the highest of any driver - and maintained the top position for most of the day, ultimately finishing second fastest behind former teammate Charles Leclerc.
