Kyle Chaney Makes Off-Road History with King of the Hammers UTV Victory
Kyle Chaney made history at the 2025 King of the Hammers "Race of Kings," securing an unprecedented victory in a Can-Am based UTV against more powerful and expensive competitors. This marks the first time a UTV-based vehicle has won this prestigious off-road race.

Yellow racing truck on rocky terrain
The race unfolded in three dramatic laps, with early leader Loren Healy in the factory Ford Bronco retiring due to drivetrain issues. Defending champion JP Gomez led after the second lap, but the secret "Mystery Lap" - a new addition to this year's race - proved decisive.
During the final lap, former king Josh Blyler and Gomez exchanged leads before mechanical issues struck both racers. Chaney, navigated by Terry Madden, capitalized on their misfortune and drove cleanly through the challenging rock sections to claim victory.
