Latest Images Reveal Extensive Mid-Ohio Track Renovations Progress
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has unveiled extensive renovations ahead of the upcoming racing season, showcasing significant improvements throughout the facility.

The comprehensive upgrade project, led by Green Savoree Race Promotions (GSRP), includes new pavement across the facility, a redesigned Turn 4 with updated runoff areas, and enhanced safety features with new fencing installations.
Key improvements include:
- 5,300 feet of new guardrail and fencing along front straight, back straight, and Turn 4 through the Esses
- 4,920 linear feet of repaved access and service roads
- Updated spectator and competitor access routes
- Renovated paddock areas and false grid road
- Enhanced Mid-Ohio Operations Building surroundings
Notable Construction Statistics:
- 520 linear feet of track paving
- 4,900 tons of asphalt used
- 15,500 cubic yards of fill material
- 1,370 feet of new drainage pipes
- Five new catch basins installed
- 1,600 tons of millings
- 500 repurposed concrete blocks from historic Columbus IMSA events
The project involved collaboration between multiple partners, including Arcadis, Dallara, Kokosing Construction, Kokosing Materials, and The National Bank of Indianapolis, with work focusing on both structural improvements and enhanced safety measures throughout the circuit.
GSRP co-owner Kevin Savoree expressed gratitude to all project partners and anticipates welcoming competitors and fans back to the improved facility in spring.
