Antonio Felix da Costa led the opening practice session for the Mexico City E-Prix, setting the fastest time of 1m 10.855s in his Porsche - comfortably breaking the circuit's official lap record.

NEOM McLaren's Taylor Barnard finished second, just 0.091s behind, while Nissan's Oliver Rowland took third place, 0.031s further back. Both drivers made late improvements as the session concluded.
