The Italian team, led by Rene Rosin and Angelina Ertsou, will field Chevrolet-powered cars with Callum Ilott and rookie Robert Schwartzman as their driver lineup. Before the Thermal Club test, the team may conduct a preliminary shakedown near their new Indianapolis facility.
The test date, which coincides with Andretti Global's schedule, has been officially approved by IndyCar. However, team co-owner Ertsou notes that plans remain fluid given the dynamic nature of preparations. "It's changing almost every day," Ertsou explained to RACER, emphasizing the importance of getting track time before the season opener in late February.
Any changes to the testing schedule would require IndyCar's approval, as the January 28 date is already part of the official testing calendar.
