Short Track SuperNationals Returns to Historic Afton Birthplace in 2025
The Short Track SuperNationals will return to Afton Motorsports Park in 2025, marking a significant homecoming to where the event first began in 2006. Promoter Ron Ford has secured a three-year agreement with the Afton Fair Board, shifting to Saturday night racing on American Racer tires.

The 16th annual event will take place October 10-11, featuring non-points-paying races. STSS Sportsman will headline Friday's program, while STSS Modifieds will take center stage on Saturday.
Afton Fairgrounds has previously hosted the SuperNationals eight times (2006, 2014-2017, 2019, 2021, and 2022). The event has been held at four different venues throughout its history: Afton, Five Mile Point Speedway, Thunder Mountain Speedway, and Utica-Rome Speedway.
