Stewart Friesen Dominates All-Tech Raceway's Sunshine Swing Opener
Stewart Friesen dominated the 2025 Short Track Super Series (STSS) opener at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, FL, claiming a $4,000 victory in the 30-lap Modified event. Starting from the pole, Friesen briefly lost the lead to Alex Payne before regaining control on lap four and maintaining it through the finish.

Friesen set the fastest lap time of 19.724 seconds during qualifying. The victory marked his sixth Florida win with the series. Alex Payne finished second, followed by Tanner Van Doren in third, Alex Yankowski in fourth, and Chris Curtis in fifth.

In the Sportsman division, Richard Murtaugh III led all 25 laps from the pole position to secure a $1,500 victory. Brian Calabrese finished second, with Payton Talbot, Chris Jakubiak, and Logan Watt rounding out the top five.

The racing action continues with Thursday's program featuring a 35-lap STSS Modified race paying $5,000 to win and a 25-lap STSS Sportsman event offering $1,500 to the winner at All-Tech Raceway, located at 1024 SW Howell Rd. Lake City, FL 32024.
