Tim McCreadie's transition to Boom Briggs Racing in 2025 has started strong, despite the typical challenges of joining a new team. Early achievements include a fourth-place finish at Ocala and two fifth-place finishes at All-Tech Speedway.

"It's been up and down," McCreadie admits. "We've had faster cars than our finishes show, but we've dealt with some small issues and gremlins - typical new car blues." Despite these challenges, McCreadie has consistently demonstrated competitiveness on the track.

Regarding the upcoming season, McCreadie faces a crucial decision between the Lucas Oil and World of Outlaws tours. The team has currently registered for both series, as their schedules don't conflict until March 21st. The final choice will depend on multiple factors, including:

  • Track schedule layouts
  • Regional race swings
  • Team dynamics
  • Family considerations

"Both tours are really good, and the money is close," McCreadie explains. "I have two young kids at home, and I don't want to always be gone, so we'll weigh all that out and decide what's best for the whole team."

The veteran driver's early success with Boom Briggs Racing suggests a promising partnership, regardless of which tour they ultimately choose to pursue.
