
United Unveils Historic McLaren WEC Livery Ahead of Le Mans 30th Anniversary Season
Anglo-American McLaren partner team United Autosports has unveiled their 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 Evo livery, featuring a striking papaya and black design that pays homage to McLaren's racing heritage.

The livery reveal comes at a significant time as McLaren celebrates the 30th anniversary of their 1995 Le Mans victory. Richard Dean, United Autosports CEO, emphasized the special nature of the season, stating their focus on building strong foundations and pursuing championship success.
The team's lineup features two cars:
No. 59 McLaren GT3 EVO (matching the Le Mans-winning F1 GTR's number):
- James Cottingham (returning)
- Gregoire Saucy (returning)
- Sebastien Baud (new addition)
No. 95 McLaren GT3 EVO (commemorating the 1995 Le Mans victory):
- Darren Leung (WEC race winner)
- Sean Gelael (WEC race winner)
- Marino Sato (returning UA driver)
McLaren Automotive CEO Michael Leiters expressed confidence in competing for the WEC title, highlighting the proven capabilities of the McLaren GT3 EVO in high-level competition. He emphasized the significance of WEC and Le Mans as ideal proving grounds for McLaren's racing heritage.
